We are delighted to welcome and inform you, our clients, partners and suppliers that Jason Linford has joined our business as the General Manager of Meta Maya Environmental Pty Ltd. This position reports to the Chief Organisation Development Officer of Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation, the parent organisation.
Jason has extensive experience in Occupational Hygiene and Hazmat risk management gained from over 20 years in QHSE management positions operating across multiple sectors, with an in-depth knowledge and capability in the development, implementation, management and auditing of quality, safety, environmental, project and risk management systems. Jason is also a Licensed Asbestos Assessor.
Jason has a proven track record in planning and executing occupational hygiene, health and safety, environmental, quality and continuous improvement projects, including the assessment, investigation and management of HAZMAT and Asbestos within the built environment. Demonstrated management of multiple development and implementation projects of client-specific safety and risk management systems for effectively driving cultural change and improving organisational performance while reducing workplace risk.
Jason will manage the operations of Meta Maya Environmental and work with the Chiefs on MME’s Strategy moving forwards.
We are also delighted to welcome Cedric Cheong who has joined Meta Maya Environmental as the Principal Consultant of Mould and IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) reporting to Jason as its General Manager. Cedric has worked in the fields of mould, indoor air quality, hygiene investigation, risk assessment and management and has over 20 years industry experience in building investigations, air quality analysis and report writing. Cedric has undertaken many hundreds of investigations, many related to compliance and post remediation validation.
Cedric has also worked as an Auditor, Trainer and Assessor and Principal Consultant in the field of Property Risk, WHS/IEQ inspections, water damage and mould management. Cedric is a Certified Environmental Practitioner, Licensed Asbestos Assessor, RESP-FIT Accredited Tester and a well credentialed researcher with more than 60 publications many focused on building investigations, risk minimisation and environmental health. Cedric has lectured and developed curriculum in the fields of environmental science and occupational health and safety.
